John the Baptist preached that we should ‘Bear fruits in keeping with repentance’.
How can we do that today?
Three groups of people came to hear him: the crowd, tax collectors and soldiers. What could they do?
1. Be generous
2. Be honest
3. Live a life of peace and contentment.
Let us live like this.
Also, during these times, it may feel as though we are thrown into the air, as a winnower throws the harvest into the air.
Will we be like the chaff, that is blown away by the wind? Or will we be the grain that falls at the feet of the winnower, at the feet of Jesus?
Let us turn to Him, and keep bearing fruits in keeping with repentance!
