Roy Mort

I was born in Neath, but due to my career my family and I have lived in various places over the years before returning to Wales after taking early retirement.

I have been married to Maralyn (Maz) for over 45 years. We have two grown-up children and three grandchildren.
Early retirement was from the British Standards Institute, where I was the Corporate Finance Director and a senior member of the B.S.I. board. I had previously held senior positions in a number of International companies and have gained wide operational experience in the service industry. This experience serves the assembly well and helps me see the “big picture” as a leader of the assembly.

Maz and I enjoy good food, the company of close friends and regular trips to Spain where we relax and pray (we also pray here as well). We are both passionate about seeing the Kingdom and will of God worked out in our lives and in the lives of God’s people.

These days I head up MANifest, our men’s ministry in Bethel and also have the privilege of being the ‘Worship Pastor’. My wife Maz is co-leader of the women’s ministry, so between us we are still very active in our local assembly and loving it!
